UHPC plastic fiber is a type of synthetic fiber used in ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC).
Common types
Polypropylene (PP) fiber: It can suppress the bursting of UHPC, has a relatively low price, and good chemical stability, but its strength and elastic modulus are relatively low.
Polyethylene (PE) fibers: The addition of high-strength PE fibers can significantly enhance the bending performance and energy absorption capacity of UHPC materials.
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber: It is a kind of fiber with high strength and high modulus, featuring excellent water resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and can enhance the crack resistance and toughness of UHPC.
Polyoxymethylene fiber (POMFs) : When used in combination with steel fiber, it can consume a large amount of impact load energy in impact tests, thereby enhancing the impact toughness of UHPC.
Plastic steel fiber (PSF) : Also known as polypropylene crude fiber, it features excellent dispersibility and strong adhesion to the matrix, as well as higher strength and elastic modulus, better chemical stability and durability.
